My love for dogs began early with my family’s first puppy, an American Eskimo named Portia. She was sweet with us, but because training wasn’t a priority, she struggled with obedience and reactivity. From that experience, I promised myself that one day I’d raise a well-trained, confident dog of my own.

That chance came when I added Cleopatra to my family. I immersed myself in training books, classes, and proper socialization, and later trained her to become my psychiatric service dog. That journey opened the door to my professional path.

For the last decade, I’ve worked with an agency specializing in dog training and behavioral rehabilitation. I’ve trained dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments, including many rescues, and helped families build healthy, lasting relationships with their pets.

After years of encouragement from clients, colleagues, friends, and family, I took the leap and launched my own business. I’m proud to bring my experience and balanced, positive-only methods directly to your home.

At Pawsitude Dogs, we’re passionate about creating harmony between dogs and the humans who love them. Our in-home and on-location training connects real-life situations with practical solutions, strengthening communication and deepening the bond between owner and dog. We focus on empowering owners with the skills and confidence to continue training independently and establish themselves as calm, effective pack leaders.

With a positive-reinforcement approach, we reduce anxiety, enhance learning, and help every dog become a happier, more well-adjusted member of the family.
